Downloading and installing reViSiT Pro
(registered users only)
reViSiT
is a VST plug-in that plugs into your existing music program (e.g. Cubase SX).
The exact procedure for installing a VST plugin will vary depending on your
system and VST host software, but the following procedure should suit most
configurations:
-
Locate your
VST Plugins folder
e.g. "C:\Program Files\Steinberg\vstplugins"
This is usually called "vstplugins" and found inside the
folder of your main music program, or "Program
Files" directory. Check
your program's settings or documentation,
if you have trouble locating it.
-
Download
and install reViSiT Pro
Click below to download the installation program:

program)
After the download has completed, run the program and, when prompted, enter
the path to your vstplugins folder (see Step 1) and follow the
onscreen instructions.

reViSiT1.4.2Pro_X.exe
(setup program)
After the download has completed, run the program and, when
prompted, enter the path to your vstplugins folder (see
Step 1) and follow the onscreen instructions.
(associated release notes for
reViSiT 1.4.2 Pro)
-
Start your VST
host program.
e.g. Cubase SX, Nuendo, Tracktion, Logic
reViSiT is loaded in the same way you would load any other VST Instrument
(VSTi) or synth - and may require you to create a project and/or an
audio track. Please consult your host software's documentation on loading
VSTi synths.
-
Select "reViSiT" as
a VSTi synth...
... and the reViSiT editor window should appear automatically,
and you're ready to start writing music. If you can't find reViSiT in your
host's list of VST Instruments, make sure the reViSiT.dll file exists in your
vstplugins folder and that your host is looking in the correct location. If you
continue to have problems, drop by the reViSiT
forum, where someone should be able to assist.
